Purpose of the survey
Effective waste management is crucial for all businesses, the environment, and the community. It ensures that waste is handled efficiently, responsibly, and sustainably. We are interested in understanding your experience of the current commercial waste service the Council provides, identifying any challenges you face, and gathering suggestions on how to enhance this service.
Additionally, we want to inform you about DEFRA's (Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs) initiative for simpler recycling for businesses. DEFRA aims to make recycling more straightforward and consistent across the UK, helping businesses to recycle more effectively and reduce waste. Your input will help us align our services with these new guidelines and improve overall waste management.

Who Should Participate
We are inviting all business owners in Dacorum who currently have a commercial waste contract with the Council to participate. Whether you manage a small retail shop, a large industrial facility, or anything in between, your thoughts are valuable.
Confidentiality and Anonymity
Your responses will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and used solely for the purpose of this survey. All information provided will be anonymised, ensuring that your individual responses cannot be linked back to you or your business.
How to Complete the Survey
The survey consists of a series of questions designed to gauge your satisfaction with various aspects of the Council’s commercial waste service, including reliability, cost, and customer support. It should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Please answer each question as thoroughly and honestly as possible.
