Dacorum Borough Council wants to understand how residents access and use digital services, including council services such as MyDacorum. Your feedback will help us improve digital access, identify barriers people face, and ensure support is available where it is needed most.
The survey should take around 5 minutes to complete.
About You - These questions help us identify whether different groups experience barriers to accessing digital services.
Your Use of Technology - These questions help us understand how residents use technology in their day-to-day lives. We want to learn what devices people have access to, how comfortable they feel using digital technology, and how often they use online services. Understanding residents' digital habits helps us identify where additional support may be needed and ensures council services are designed in ways that work for everyone.
Using Online Council Services (MyDacorum) - MyDacorum is Dacorum Borough Council’s secure online customer portal. It allows residents to access council services, including managing requests, checking progress updates, making payments and finding information without needing to contact the council by phone or visit our offices. Your answers will help us increase digital inclusion, improve the customer experience, and ensure MyDacorum works well for as many residents as possible.
Your Experience - These questions are around your experience when engaging with us as a Council.
What happens next?
The consultation will close on Wednesday 18 November 2026.
Once the consultation has closed, we will review all responses received and prepare a report setting out the outcome of the consultation and the proposed next steps.
