Stage 3 Hearing Sessions

The third stage Hearings of the Examination of the Dacorum Local Plan took place during w/c 2 March 2026, w/c 9 March 2026 and w/c 23 March 2026.

The Stage 3 hearings were held in person in the Council Offices, The Forum, Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 1DN and opened at 10:00 am on Tuesday 3rd March 2026.

Stage 2 Hearing Sessions

The Stage 2 hearing sessions of the Dacorum Local Plan examination was a standalone stage to consider strategic issues relating to the Hemel Garden Communities proposals.

Joint in-person hearings were held with St Albans City and District Council on Tuesday 21 October 2025 and were held at St Albans City and District Council offices.

Stage 1 Hearing Sessions

The first stage Hearings of the Examination of the Dacorum Local Plan took place during w/c 15 September 2025.

The Stage 1 hearings were held in-person in the Council Offices, The Forum, Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 1DN and opened at 10.00 am on Tuesday 16th September 2025.

Live Stream and Webcast

All the hearings will be live streamed as a Microsoft Teams 'Town Hall'. When the hearings are taking place, anyone wishing to listen to the discussion will be able to access the live stream via the links below. It will not be necessary to log in, as the link will take you straight to the hearing session.

When the morning's hearing session has concluded, you will need to click onto the afternoon's hearing session manually.

Recordings of Stage 1 and Stage 2 hearings can be viewed from the widget on the right-hand side of this page, or on the Dacorum Borough Council YouTube channel. Please note that the titles of the recordings are consistent with the Programme & Participants V12 (20 March 2026). Recordings of the Stage 3 hearings are in the process of being uploaded to the Council's YouTube channel and will be added to the widget on the right-hand side of this page once this process is complete.

As a number of days held in reserve by the Inspectors were not required, there are no recordings for Day 4, Day 9 and Day 12 as no hearings took place.
