We are developing a new Homeless and Rough Sleeping Strategy for the borough and are seeking the views from residents of Dacorum on the Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy (HRSS) until 11th February 2025.
Dacorum Borough Council’s Housing Strategy 2024 – 2029 sets several commitments that we will need to meet to fulfil its aims. The Homeless and Rough Sleeping Strategy will sit alongside the Housing Strategy and will support the delivery of these commitments. This Strategy has been put together through consultation with stakeholders, partner organisations and those with lived experience to ensure we can deliver an excellent level of service that is truly beneficial and helpful.
The Housing Strategy and other relevant Strategies and Policies can be viewed here - Strategies and policies.
We are asking people to give their views on the content, format, and other relevant feedback on the Homeless and Rough Sleeping Strategy, which can be done utilising the ‘Questions’ and ‘Survey’ at the bottom of this page.
We welcome feedback from residents of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Your feedback will help shape the future of Homelessness and Rough Sleeping in Dacorum Borough Council, ensuring the Strategy meets your needs and priorities.
For further information on how the Council processes your personal data, please visit our privacy policy.
The Consultation period will end on 11th February 2025 after which the strategy will be presented the Council’s Senior Leadership Team and the Portfolio Holder on 13th February, then to the Liberal Democrat group on 6th March, to HC and OSC on 12th March and Cabinet on 20th May.
