The responses to the Inspectors’ targeted consultation are now available on the Consultation on Examination Document DBC/ED49 page.

An updated Statement of Common Ground between the Council and Sports England has been submitted and can be viewed on the Consultation page with the Council’s statement, and also in the Examination documents at DBC/ED48A.

The matters for discussion in the afternoon session on 24th March (Allocations at Grange Farm Bovingdon and London Road Markyate) have been moved to the morning session on 24th March. Please see the latest Programme and Participants V.11 on the hearing sessions page for further information.

The Inspectors are running a consultation on Sport England’s latest position on the site allocation Hm11 Shendish Manor and Fairfields. For further information please see the Consultation on Examination Document DBC/ED49 page.

At the hearing session today the Inspectors accepted a late submission from Sport England concerning their SoCG with Dacorum Borough Council in relation to site allocation Hm11 Shendish Manor. Please see DBC/ED49 in the examination documents.

Addendums to Statements of Common Ground submitted earlier in the examination in relation to some of the site allocations have also been submitted and can be viewed at DBC/ED14A (Bk03 and Bk04), DBC/ED15A (Hm06), DBC/ED19A (Hm11), DBC/ED21A (HM16) and DBC/ED24A (Tr03).

A number of Statements of Common Ground to previous SoCG are available in the Examination document at DBC/ED44 through to DBC/ED48.

The updated Programme and Participants, including the Stage 3 hearings taking place from 3 March 2026, is available on the Hearing Sessions page.

The dates for the Stage 3 hearings of the Examination of the Dacorum Local Plan have now been arranged and will open at 10.00 am on Tuesday 3 March 2026. Further information the Stage 3 hearings is available on the Hearing Sessions page.

The Inspectors’ consultation on the Site Selection Update Paper and Green Belt Sites Additional List has now closed. The responses to the consultation can be viewed HERE

The documents requested by the Inspectors in their Post Stage 1 Hearings letter have been submitted and can be accessed in the examination documents at DBC/ED39 and DBC/ED40. The Inspectors will be running a consultation on these documents with those who responded at the Regulation 19 stage of the preparation of the Local Plan. Details of the consultation will be sent out by the Programme Officer shortly.
